Support Our Mission
In 1937, Edmundite priests and brothers from Vermont established roots in Selma, AL. Since that time, they and religious sisters from seven religious congregations have built up a network of lay and religious co-workers in the Lord’s vineyard.
How Your Gift Helps
Your regular giving provides the necessary funds to support the daily activities of the Edmundite Missions, such as the Bosco Kitchen, the senior citizens program, and other service locations in the Black Belt area of Alabama.
How did People Learn about the Mission?
Spencer from Pennsylvania shares with me that a few years ago he was on a Caribbean Cruise. He wanted to go to a Catholic Church for Sunday services when the ship docked on a small island. The Captain of the ship gave him simple directions—three blocks away from port.
Benefits of Giving
A gift plan can provide you substantial tax advantages, especially on gifts of stocks and real estate. The total income, estate, and capital gains tax savings and the probate expense savings can come close to the amount transferred.
Donor Stories
Both our donors and the beneficiaries of their generosity have stories to share. Read their stories here.
